I am not good at these types of things but let’s give this a shot!
My name is Rhiannon, and I grew up in Orkney, a small group of islands of the north of Scotland. Growing up here was great, it was quiet and we had the freedom to be kids not having to worry about crime etc. I moved away to Thurso when I went to uni and learned how to surf, going back to see family and friends every so often.
In 2023 I took the leap to go traveling and left with a friend to start the adventure in Bali. I ended up liking it so much I floated around Asia for 1 year and 7 months, visiting Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam before returning home to surprise my parents before Christmas and work to get more money behind me.
6 months later and I was back on the road again to Asia. This time taking off with 2 friends this time and showing them where I stayed and explored new places. They returned home and I continued my journey from Bali, again, to Thailand, Laos and now Australia.
During the last year I started to create YouTube videos of what I got up to, following me along on the journey and now starting to make tips and tricks on how to make your journey smooth and enjoyable. There have been many pitfalls and hopefully I can help you avoid these.

Previously I had a blogging website but honestly I had no clue what I was doing so I let that go at the start of 2025. Now we are back with a bang and more knowledge in my brain to hopefully stick at it this time.
This time I am going to be delivering directly to you (and your mail box) my travel stories, tips and tricks and sometimes my general thoughts. This is going to be my writing platform to get everything out of my head and onto “paper”.
