I’ll be honest from the start, when I was first told about Travel Advantage, alarm bells went off immediately.
I’ve tried a variety of “travel agencies”, “online opportunities”, and “side hustles” over the years, and they have all been absolute bullshit. I had been overpromised results, waited months for income to be paid out, and contestant pressure to upsell for very little reward. I no longer get involved in any more of these schemes.
So when my friend Fran first mentioned Travel Advantage to me earlier in the year, I was curious… but very sceptical.
I’ll be frank, this post isn’t here to convince you. It’s here to show you exactly how it went for me, my thought process and where I am now. I will take you through the good and the bad, so you can decide if it’s something that makes sense for you.
Especially if you found this post by scanning a QR code on the side of my car! Hello, my name is Rhi and welcome to the most transparent explanation you’ll probably read. Get to know me here!
All I will say just now is this opportunity is nothing like the others I have previously joined. Now let’s dig into the good stuff!
Disclaimer
I am a paying member of Travel Advantage and I also chose to become an ambassador later on. This post is based entirely on my own experience using the platform, the good, the bad, and everything in between. I’m not here to convince anyone, just to show you exactly how it’s played out for me.

Why I was so Skeptical
Last year a friend of mine Fran came to me raving about this website, Travel Advantage. Telling me how you could get cheaper hotels, flights and you could earn more from it than other affiliate sites.
I felt reserved about it at first, I’ve tried all kinds of these things and they’ve all been bullshit. But I listened to what she was telling me and over the coming months I started to see the proof myself.
I’ve been travelling for years now, I know how to get great deals etc and I have seen “exclusive deals” which aren’t actually exclusive. I’ve been burned myself and seen others getting burned by these shiny platforms which deliver nothing.
So instead of putting all my eggs into one basket, I sat and I watched.
Over the coming months I saw the actual savings which could be made. The price comparisons from other booking websites vs Travel Advantage. I have watched Fran save a lot on holidays/travels while also getting a free trip booked for next year! For those who don’t know her she travels with her family of 4.
Why I Decided to Try Travel Advantage
Fast forward 6 months, I’m on the road in Australia, back to work. Yuck. Not what I was hoping for but that’s part of travelling.
Anyway I had my usual thought, “I don’t want to be stuck in the rat race again”, so how do I change this?
Well I am already travelling, I book flights, hotels and all that jazz and spend my money/savings on something I love doing. Why don’t I try out this platform and see what savings I could be making and if I make money from it, bonus!.
So I decided to take the leap and dip my pinky toe in.
The Big One: What Is Travel Advantage?
First off, it is a paid monthly membership, with different tiers but it isn’t as expensive as you may think (as pictured below).

Depending on the membership you choose you can have access to some/all of the sections below:

When you book anything on the site you collect points, like other travel sites, but if you choose a higher tier of membership you also collect loyalty points. I’ll expand on these more, so don’t stress.
You can purely use this just as a traveller or you can upgrade to an ambassador and earn from it by sharing with others. Joining as an ambassador is not necessary to get the perks from this site, you don’t have to share it with others if you don’t want to.
How I Tested Travel Advantage
So I signed up initially on the $20 a month membership to see what it was all about before I threw myself into the pool. I got a feel for the website, what the prices were and if it really was going to be usable for me.
I went back and forth comparing prices with Expedia, Booking.com, Trip, Skyscanner and Agoda. At the bottom of this post you can see examples of savings between Travel Advantage and other booking sites.
Yes, the majority of prices were cheaper and some a LOT cheaper but there were some which weren’t. It is to be expected.
Why I Decided to Upgrade
What really got me over the line was the fact I would get 150% back on the difference if I found a cheaper deal elsewhere.
Although I am paying to have access to this site, the money I am putting into it can be used directly on hotels/flights etc for the same value. I don’t lose any money, it doesn’t go into the void but I can still use it without losing a penny. It’s a savings pot in some form of way without knowing it.
I also didn’t feel pressured, I wasn’t promised to be rolling in dollars, but it was the fact that I already share travel tips. I genuinely could see the savings I can make and if I can help others and shore this, why not.
After considering all of these factors, seeing and playing around with the platform I upgraded to Elite and took the dive with the ambassador role as well.
This platform genuinely aligns with my values unlike others, so I actually feel like I want to share this with others.
So far I have no regrets.
The Perks:
Savings
This is the main reason I use Travel Advantage.
So far I have saved money on:
- Accommodation
- Flights
But as seen above you can also save on
- Cars
- Transfers
- Cruises
- Life Experiences
- Lifestyle Mall (Shopping)
- Getaways
- Ground (Trains, Bus etc)
- Activities
- Stays
- Tickets (Including concert tickets!)
- Flash Deals (Next day deals)
- The Club (Exclusive deals)
Is every single booking cheaper? No.
But there are enough that are cheaper that makes the membership pay for itself, especially if you travel often.
Reward Points Vs Loyalty Points
Reward points are earned through every single booking made through the platform.
They can be used on anything on the site. They can add a discount on top of the already discounted stays/flights etc or you can save them up for a free holiday! Just like Fran has.
Just to be clear the reward points don’t have a fixed cash value like airline miles. Their value depends on how you use them, but they’re designed to reduce the cost of future bookings, sometimes significantly. I’ve seen them cover full hotel nights or heavily discount higher-end stays when used strategically.
Loyalty points are gained from your loyalty to the platform, from your monthly subscription.
They are valued at $1 to $1, you don’t lose a penny.
These can also be applied to get cheaper stays/free holidays. On certain stays/flights you can sometimes only use a portion of the points but if you stay with the site for 1 year you can use all your points on one holiday.
Both types of points can be applied to anything on the site and they can be used together.
Money Back Guarantee
This was a big one for me.
There is a refund period if you decide Travel Advantage is not for you, so it is a stress free trial. There is no long term lock in, if you decide to leave after the refund period it is also super simple in cancelling the membership.
Along with that if you find cheaper deals elsewhere you get 150% of the difference back.
Another no brainer for me, personally.
Optional Earnings
This part is completely optional, you do not have to earn money from Travel Advantage to use the site.
If you do choose to go down this route, you can earn by sharing the platform through commissions. It is paid out monthly, thankfully, but it is not easy.
You will need to put in time and effort but the rewards for doing so pay off.
There are multiple ways to earn more through the site and there are milestones where you will gain extra rewards for your hard work.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, this is still work and results are not guaranteed.
The Downsides (There’s Always Some)
Monthly Fee
There is a monthly fee, whether you are travelling at the time or not. It is still money going out of your pocket.
But at least it is going towards something you enjoy, just like Netflix or Prime.
Not Every Deal is Cheaper
Like I have said earlier, not every deal is cheaper. There are some which might be a little more expensive but it does get balanced out or you can let them know and get 150% back on the difference.
I understand this can be a pain for those who want to use one site and one site only without having to compare everything.
Earnings Take Work
Again, this is not a get rich quick scheme, if it was everyone would be jumping on it.
This takes WORK, don’t expect money to roll in. Think of it as your own business, if you put work in it will work. If you don’t put work in, it will crash and burn, I’m being honest and realistic here and giving you hard truths.
Who is it for/NOT for?
Let’s be real, Travel Advantage is not for everybody so let me break this down.
This is probably for you if:
- You travel more than once a year
- You already spend money on accommodation and flights
- You’re open to a subscription based tool (everything is slowly going this way)
- You like saving money
- You want to earn from something you back
This probably is NOT for you if:
- You barely travel
- You hate subscriptions
- You expect an easy side hustle
- You’re uncomfortable sharing things you love/use
Membership Vs Ambassador
The membership is purely for getting access to the travel savings while on the ambassador side you get access to the travel savings side while also sharing it with others and earning.
You will pay a little extra for joining as an ambassador but it is a one off payment.
FAQ’s I ALWAYS Get Asked
No, I was skeptical at first but I can 100% say it is not.
Being able to see real prices myself, book things and turn up, convinced me without a doubt. I watched others do it as well so I had the proof before hand. Also the fact you can cancel the membership at any time and find it easily was a massive green flag.
Mostly yes, sometimes no and this is full transparency.
The value comes from:
– Bundled savings
– Points/loyalty system
– Long-term use rather than one-off bookings
There are two types of points:
Reward points – earned when you book travel
Loyalty points – earned monthly for being a member
Both can be used to reduce the cost of future bookings. They are not cash, they can’t be withdrawn, and only make sense if you actually travel.
Yes 100%. No contracts, no drama.
If you don’t think you’re getting value, you can cancel anytime and walk away. Nice and easy.
It has affiliate-style elements, yes, but it’s not pyramid-based.
You’re not paid to recruit people endlessly under you. You’re paid for helping others access the platform, and the product (travel savings) exists whether you share it or not.
If MLMs give you the ick, we’re in the same boat, they give me the ick too!
I actually use it, I save money and it is something I back. I like being transparent about things I put my name behind and this is one of those things.
If my opinion on this changes you will know about it here first!
My Honest Verdict
Overall since joining this site I haven’t only made money but I have saved it on hotels and flights traveling around the world. As a traveller you are always looking out for the next best deal or how can I cheaply travel from x to y.
I can safely say Travel Advantage has definitely helped me to do this, while also being able to share something I am passionate about.

Examples of Savings
Here you will see different comparisons and deals which you can get on Travel Advantage in comparison to other sites.
I have only included hotels and flights as this is what I use the most but there are other aspects I can show you if you are interested. Drop me a DM or email and I can send more information across to you.
Hotel Comparison
See below examples of places which are a good example of average prices you would normally pay in these destinations vs what you can access through Travel Advantage.
The discounts you get can vary a lot from 2% upwards to 50%+ it completely depends on the company.
London – Soho 13/03/2026 – 16/03/2026 (Prices accurate on 30/12/2025)

New York – Manhattan 13/03/2026 – 16/03/2026 (Prices accurate on 30/12/2025)

Paris 13/03/2026 – 16/03/2026 (Prices accurate on 30/12/2025)

Tokyo – Shinjuku 13/03/2026 – 16/03/2026 (Prices accurate on 30/12/2025)

Sydney – CBD 13/03/2026 – 16/03/2026 (Prices accurate on 30/12/2025)

Flight Comparison
Flights are a little different. I have found some flights on Travel Advantage which I can’t find on other sites like booking.com or Skyscanner.
London Heathrow to Paris Charles de Gaulle (13/03/2026)
For example this Easy Jet flight I couldn’t find on either of the other sites! It comes in cheaper than looking at flight comparisons.

Below I have included the same destination but different airline which I could compare. This is full transparency, as I have said not everything is cheaper. You can send this too Travel Advantage though and get 150% back on the difference.

Price difference between the Sky Scanner and Travel Advantage is £78 which would mean you can get £117 back. This would then make the flight £152 which would then be cheaper.
This is a bit of a pain if you have to do this all the time but its another way in which you can save money.
